Yeonhab MIL-DTL-38999 Series IV
The Yeonhab D38999 Series IV is utilized where excessive vibration and shock is part of daily life. Industries served include defense electronics like avionics, radar, communication radios and ground vehicle electronics. Aerospace applications include extreme conditions in flight control and engine monitoring.

Available Configurations
The Yeonhab D38999 Series IV variants include straight plugs, jam-nut receptacles, wall-mount receptacles, feed-through receptacles and hermetic receptacles. Standard shells are available in sizes 9-25 with contact configurations from 6-128 pins or sockets. Mil-spec plating selections include OD cad and nickel.

Design and Functionality
The breech-lock coupling design has a primary and secondary locking system yet only requires a 90-degree rotation to engage and disengage. This breech bayonet blind-mate coupling design minimizes engagement time, making it ideal for applications requiring rapid connector access or modular maintenance. A unique grounding system forms a 360-degree shield inside the shell, grounding the connector when the mating shells meet.

Demanding Environments and Power Requirements
Yeonhab D38999 connectors have an exceptionally wide usable temperature range of -65°C to +200°C ( -85°F to +392° F) and are splash resistant to hydraulic fluid, JP-8 aviation fuel, lubricating oils, and deicing/defrosting fluid. Precision engineered seals give an IP67/IP68 rating.
