This letter is in response to your request for information as to whether or not products that CDM Inc. supplies contain conflict minerals.

CDM Inc. is aware of and fully supports the intent of Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act pertaining to the use of conflict minerals originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries and is working with the manufacturers of the products we provide to perform reasonable due diligence. We will not knowingly purchase and/or provide products that contain conflict minerals. As a distributor and value add supplier CDM Inc. does not directly purchase or process any raw material metals. Further, manufacturers have acknowledged that their distributors are not authorized to provide the required data to the end customer as traditional component distribution activities are not within the scope of the bill’s reporting requirements.

Please be assured that CDM Inc. will continue to take action to ensure compliance with the Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act and perform adequate due diligence pertaining to the use of Conflict Minerals.

Should we become aware of any vendor within our supply chain that provides metals from the DRC or adjoining country, we will notify you and take the necessary steps to remedy the situation.
